In September 2019, Zurich Insurance Group announced an industry-leading global data commitment. Going beyond legal requirements, the Group’s data commitment includes a promise never to sell customers’ personal data nor to share personal data without being fully transparent.

This data commitment is part of the Group’s objective to inspire confidence in a digital society.

All our employees receive regular training on data protection and privacy as well as on information security aspects as our employees play a very important role in protecting personal data.

We have clear processes in place to respond in a timely manner to data protection and privacy breaches should they occur.

To ensure data protection and privacy remains a top priority - relevant business areas, together with Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Information Security and IT functions - closely collaborate to ensure the best solution possible is implemented.
