The Indexed Emerging Markets Equity Fund (BlackRock) is a unit-linked fund that gives you the opportunity to participate in the performance of companies in emerging markets. The fund aims to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the fund’s assets. The fund currently invests in the iShares Emerging Markets Equity Index Fund managed by BlackRock. The iShares Fund is passively managed and aims to track an index, but may not track it exactly. This fund invests some of its assets outside the eurozone so a currency risk arises for a euro investor.

How it works
