The Dalkey Novel of the Year Award presented by Zurich will showcase the talent and calibre of Irish novelists and honour an outstanding writer for their achievements. See who is on the shortlist for the 2022 Novel of the Year.

The winner of the Novel of the Year will receive €20,000 and will be announced in conjunction with the Dalkey Book Festival on 18^th June 2022.

In the Novel of the Year category, the award is for writers resident in or born in Ireland and published in Ireland or the UK in 2021. Authors need not be of Irish nationality, but if not, then they must have been resident in Ireland for at least six months in each of the previous three years.
