Pension Season Resources
Pension season is now well under way. At Zurich we’re gearing up for what’s going to be a very busy final quarter, and would like to take this chance to thank you for your business throughout what has been a challenging year for us all.
The good news......
Zurich Phone Lines – From this morning we’re reopening all of the Operations phone lines from 9am-5pm each weekday. This includes the Zurich Service Teams, Groups and the Customer phone line. We’re still contending with the challenge of managing working from home – but we think the reopening of the phone lines is a great step in the right direction.
To keep our service teams working as efficiently as possible, we’d like to ask you for your help and support in particular with regard to your types of queries:
For administration queries – please use the phone lines to speak to us
For policy information requests – most policy related queries can be sourced via our online dashboard so please use this in the first instance if possible
For sales or fund related queries – your Broker Consultant or our website will be the best place for these.
Transfer payments - We have seen a dramatic reduction in the number of requests for cheque transfer payments due to the Covid situation and we have taken the decision to phase out the facility with immediate effect and replace with EFT instead.
ROS Extension - As you’re no doubt aware, for customers opting to use the online route, the ROS deadline has been extended to 10 December as a ‘one-off Covid-19 exemption’.
Again, to help us manage the busy Pension Season workload, we’d encourage you to still get your clients contributions in early – ideally by the original 12 November date. This will help us manage your business efficiently.
