Continuing our digital journey

Our digital journey at Zurich continues as we begin to offer customers the option of receiving their Benefit Statements online.
From today, we will begin contacting Personal Pension, Savings and Investment Bond policy owners who are "Digital Customers" (i.e these customers already have a verified client centre login) to ask whether they would like to receive their annual benefit statements digitally, rather than via post.

This communication will be an email and will be sent to customers 3 to 4 weeks before their benefit statement is due to be posted. Customers can opt-in to receive their statements digitally by logging into their Client Centre.

All customers who opt-in for digital benefit statements will no longer receive their statements via post. Instead when a new annual benefit statement becomes available, we will prompt them via text/email to login and view it on their client centre.

As your client's Financial Broker, there is no action required from you at this time, we are just making you aware of this latest step in our digital journey. If you do receive any queries from your clients regarding our email to them, you can reassure them that our email is authentic. Our customer email will not include any outward links, instead it will simply prompt them to login to their account to update their preferences.

There will be no change to how brokers receive the statement copies.

Important: In this first stage, we will only be offering digital statements to Personal Pension, Savings and Investment bond policy owners whose benefit statement is due to be printed the following month. However, from today we'll also be proactively asking ALL clients who login to their client centre, to provide us with their document preferences so that in the future when their annual benefit statement does become digitised we'll already know their preference.
