Business to Arts Award Winners

Zurich Insurance plc and the National Gallery of Ireland, along with Crawford Art Gallery, won Best Long-Term Partnership for the annual Zurich Portrait Prize and Zurich Young Portrait Prize competitions. 

The Business to Arts Awards Ceremony is the largest arts and business event in the calendar and we are delighted to have won the Best Long-Term Partnership for our work and partnership with the National Gallery of Ireland.

Following the successful sponsorship in 2017 by Zurich Insurance of the landmark exhibition 'Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry', Zurich Insurance became the title sponsor of the Gallery's annual portrait competition in 2018. The following year the Gallery and Zurich Insurance developed the concept of the Zurich Young Portrait Prize. Both competitions became a touring exhibition in 2020, 2021 and 2022 travelling to the Crawford Art Gallery, Cork. The 2022 shortlist exhibition will travel to Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal in Spring 2023.
