DC initiative for brokers
This new initiative is designed to help financial brokers grow their share of the DC market at a time of far reaching change for pensions. Zurich and Brokers Ireland firmly believe that independent advice is essential for the smooth running of a pension scheme. With the proposed auto-enrolment system still a number of years away, it is imperative that today's workers don't lose out on valuable years of contributions and with the right advice, should act now.
The new Brokers Ireland Zurich DC initiative puts Financial Brokers at the centre of an advice proposition - fully supported by the logistical know-how and expertise of the Zurich team. Working in tandem with the independent advice provided by the Financial Broker, Zurich can provide support including:
- Preparing and preenting scheme tenders
- On-boarding project management
- Member engagement and customised website
- Trustee and Employer meetings
- Competitive scheme pricing & technological bonus payment per active member.
Speaking at the launch of the Brokers Ireland Zurich DC initiative, Diarmuid Kelly, CEO of Brokers Ireland said, "I hope this new initiative will prompt all financial brokers to take a fresh look at the opportunities in the DC space, opportunities that include income from the DC scheme, transfers in and other related business such as PRBs, and of course, more clients and the cross sale benefits that will invariably arise."
Jonathan Daly, Zurich's Head of Retail Sales and Propositions added: "We have worked together with Brokers Ireland to develop a compelling proposition which provides Financial Brokers with a range of supports, technology, employee engagement tools and remuneration to enable all financial brokers to compete and win in the Group DC market."
