Zurich competition winners at National Ploughing Championships

Charolais Heifer competition

Congratulations to Trevor Corrigan from Tullow, Co Carlow who has been announced as the lucky winner of the Charolais heifer, having entered the Zurich Farm Insurance competition at this year’s National Ploughing Championships.

Trevor is a tillage and beef farmer and was presented with his prize by Zurich’s Southeast Business Development Manager, Joe Nolan at Trevor’s farm in Tullow last week.

Trevor signed up for the competition while visiting Zurich’s stand at the National Ploughing Championships in September and guessed the correct weight ‘500kg*’.  

€250 fuel voucher competition

Congratulations to Walter Murphy from Portlaoise, Co. Laois who has been announced as the winner of the €250 fuel voucher, having entered the Zurich home and car insurance competition at this year’s National Ploughing Championships.

Walter correctly answered our question and filled out one of the flyers that were available at the Zurich stand over the course of the National Ploughing Championships.

Ireland’s Fittest Farmer

Finally, congratulations to Rogan Kirwan from Mountrath, Co Laois who was the winner of the Ireland’s Fittest Farmer competition. Rogan had a very impressive time of 4 mins 59 seconds on the hang tough challenge. Rogan received a signed hurl and sliotar from Davy Fitzgerald and a €500 One4all voucher.

*We received more than one entrant guessing 500kg. The selection of the winner was chosen randomly by an independent adjudicator to oversee the selection of the winner.
