GAA is at the heart of local communities across Wexford. We are incredibly proud to be headline sponsor of ladies and men’s GAA, LGFA and camogie in Wexford helping to underpin the further development of Gaelic games from underage to adult intercounty level across all codes. Our customers, partners and employees have strong engagement in grassroots Gaelic games and this partnership helps build emotional connections with them, helps demonstrate our shared values and commitment to inclusiveness and helps us strengthen our presence across the county.

There is also a strong affinity between our important farm market base, partner brokers and insurance consumers with the GAA. This sponsorship helps us build our brand with these customers, both in Wexford and nationally, and also helps us deliver a unique employee experience for our people.

The sponsorship is a true reflection of our values as a long-standing member of the community, where we now employ over 250 local people at our centre of excellence in Wexford town, and is consistent with our long-term support for grass-roots community organisations where we are located.

Wexford GAA aims to be the lead sporting organisation in promoting core community values as well as the physical, mental and social wellbeing in the county. At its core is the holistic development of every child and adult in county Wexford. Zurich is proud to play a part in this strategic aim through our ongoing sponsorship and also the cross-over roll-out of the Tackle Your Feelings mental wellbeing programme with Wexford GAA’s ‘next generation’ cohort and adult inter-county teams. Tackle Your Feelings is run in partnership with Rugby Players Ireland and is funded by the Zurich Foundation.
